A Number of Affected as In-Flight Disturbance Hits Delta Aircraft into Sydney
Multiple passengers and crew were hurt when a Delta Airlines jet traveling from Los Angeles to Sydney was hit by rough air Friday morning.
Flight DL41 "experienced a brief period of turbulence" as it landed at the Sydney airport, an airline spokesperson informed. Four flight attendants were injured.
Emergency medical services said they treated five patients, and transferred three to hospital with minor injuries that comprised pain in the back and headaches. The patients' ages spanned from their 30s to 70s.
