The House Oversight Committee has published a batch of approximately 70 photos from the estate of deceased convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third publication from a larger collection of in excess of 95,000 photographs the panel has secured from Epstein's holdings. It contains photographs of passages from the book Lolita inscribed across a woman's body, and censored images of women's overseas passports.

This release comes mere hours before the December 19th cut-off for the Justice Department to disclose each documents related to its probe into Epstein.

"These photos pose additional inquiries about exactly what the DOJ has in its possession," remarked the senior Democrat of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photos Made Public

Some of the photographs published on Thursday depict Epstein conversing with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky inside a private jet; Bill Gates seen alongside a female whose identity is obscured; Steve Bannon positioned at a table opposite Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the newest high-net-worth, influential individuals to be seen in Epstein estate photographs published by the committee - formerly published pictures also depict US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, ex- US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Showing up in the photos is is not considered proof of any wrongdoing, and several of the pictured men have said they were never implicated in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a statement issued alongside the photograph release, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein property holders did not provide background information or dates for the images.

"Photographs were chosen to provide the general populace with transparency into a typical cross-section of the photographs obtained from the holdings, and to provide understanding into Epstein's circle and his extremely alarming activities," the release reads.

The disclosure also contains multiple photos of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita written in black ink across various areas of a woman's body, like her chest, feet, hipbone, and rear. Lolita recounts the story of a adolescent who was groomed by a older literature professor.

A particular passage from the book written across a female's upper body states, "Lolita: the point of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to land, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a number of photographs of female identification and ID papers from nations globally, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the data on the papers, including identities and birth dates, is censored but the House Oversight Committee stated in a statement that the travel documents are associated with "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were interacting with".

A further photograph shows Epstein sitting at a table intimately flanked by three individuals whose faces have been redacted - one individual has her palm on Epstein's chest under his clothing, and another individual is bending to view a close-by laptop. Epstein can be seen to be helping the final person fasten a piece of jewelry.

Another photograph disclosed is a image of digital messages from an unidentified person who claims they have been supplied "a number of girls" and are asking for "$1000 per female".

Image Disclosure Arrives Before DOJ Cut-off

The panel has thousands of images in its holdings from the Epstein property, which are "at once graphic and mundane," its statement on this week clarified.

The oversight panel first legally compelled the estate of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on accusations of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The photographs and documents the Epstein estate's representatives provided to the committee are different than what is often called "Epstein-related records". Those are records within the Department of Justice's possession related to its own investigation into Epstein.

In accordance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which the President signed into law last month, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to disclose its files. The extent of the contents included in the DOJ's files is unclear, and it's probable that a significant portion of the material will be significantly redacted, comparable to House Oversight Committee documents
