Vince Zampella, Has Passed Away in an LA Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, who helped create the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.
The influential game designer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday, according to.
"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
